Hello! I’m Kelly Barnes, your 2025-2026 PTA President! As I serve this year, I’m focused on the THREE Cs of community, communication, and our children!

A little about me: I am a Hokie, a financial advisor, and live in Surreywood. My husband Matt is a VCU Ram, and we have two Davis Dragons: Hailey Jane is in 4th grade and Holden is in 1st grade. In our spare time we can be found on the water (neighborhood pool, beach, river… on a jet ski or waterskis is my favorite place to be!) or on the sidelines cheering on our kiddos or our college teams! I am here to serve, to listen, to learn… and I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know parents, teachers, and students as I work alongside our amazing Board to support our Davis family.

My name is Lindsey Douglas, mom of a fourth grade Davis Dragon and a 3-year-old future Dragon. I share the PTA secretary position with Tim Weston. My role focuses mainly on communication. I am also part of the yearbook team, assisting Danielle Stovall to capture and preserve special moments throughout the year.

Hi, my name is Laura Blackwell and I’m the Spanish Liaison for our PTA! My job is to help make sure all of our Spanish-speaking families feel included and connected. I share information in both English and Spanish, answer questions, and help with events so everyone feels welcome and part of our school community. I have two boys, a fourth grader and a four year old who will soon be a Davis Dragon! ¡Aquí todos somos importantes y siempre bienvenidos!
